"My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to unwind and enjoy our 30th Anniversary. This was perfect. We enjoyed strolls on the beach, reading 3 books, walks down the road and the sauna to loosen our old joints. I took the kayak out twice. We took a motorcycle ride to Copper Harbor (Brockway Mt. Road) and found little gems along the loop (Eagle Harbor has a restaurant called Fitzgeralds and Haven Woods Waterfall). Leaves were not quite peak yet. "

"We loved our stay! The hosts were very responsive with questions before our visit. We took full advantage of School house beach which is just down the road. We then enjoyed warming our bones in the sauna and a warm shower.The creek on the property provided ample play for everyone This cabin’s location was perfect for all our daytime adventures throughout the UP"

"This was a great stay! Beautiful property! We absolutely loved catching sunrises from the beach and having bonfires with the sound of the waves to unwind in the evening! The family games and things to keep children busy were a great touch as well! This was a perfect base camp for our UP travels!"

"Stayed 2 nights. Loved the cabin, comfy beds & good lighting next to beds. Beautiful 1 & a half baths. Great appliances in the kitchen. FYI: The closest town is Gay, a mile away & all that's there is a bar that does serve food, but we were so happy the host had left a frozen pizza for us, plus bkfst items as we drove several hrs to get there & really didn't want to get in the car again! The next day we went to Copper Harbor, which is 38 miles north. Mt Bohemia/Nordic Spa/Lac LaBelle is about 23 miles north. Get a reservation for the Harbor House in Copper Harbor, a restaurant on the lake. So delicious! Loved our cabin's deck & lots of seating with a beautiful view of the lake. Lots of wood & kindling provided for a fire in the fire pit. Very pet friendly! We'll definitely stay here again. Our 1st time staying on the east side of the Peninsula."

"We enjoyed our stay and the Location was excellent for our sightseeing day trips. The home was perfect for our needs and was handicapped accessible. Laundry facilities were excellent. Beautiful sunsets! Close to the boat launch as we brought our boat. Easy access. Timm and Becky were absolutely GREAT hosts. Timm was more than willing to help us out with boat/dock issues. Hope to return in 2026! "
